Visakhapatnam, which
is popularly known as Vizag, is named come frome God Vaishaka. Visakhapatnam is
a port city, it is headquarters to the Eastern Naval Command of the Indian Navy
and situated along the beach of Bay of Bengal. Also deliberate to be an industrial
city, Vizag is a rich and vibrant culture and heritage. The city was regulated
by renowned kings and was part of the primitive Kalinga Empire, such as Ashoka
and Krishnadeva Raya. During,century of the 18th, Visakhapatnam was a Dutch
colony. Today, Vizag hug its past and present seamlessly, vizag is an
interesting and attractive city to spend holidays.

Vizag is gratified
with hill ranges, with natural beauty, lush, natural valleys and pristine
beaches along its coastline. The city is clasped by three hills, Ross Hill, Dargah
Konda and Sri Venkateswara Konda. Each
hill is home to a temple, devoted to three different religions. The
Venkateswara Konda is home to the Vekateswara Temple, It is devoted to Lord
Shiva; the Dargah Konda is home to the bury of a Muslim saint called Baba Ishaq
Madina Dargah and Ross Hill houses the Church of Virgin Mary.
